"The Village Pet Au Pair has been the best thing to happen to me since I got my dogs! I don't have to worry about them being left alone while I work every day, and they get exercise and interaction with someone other than me. Rachel is very much attuned to animals; after just a few days of walking and caring for my beagles, she had each dog's personality figured out: the alpha dog, the jock, and the wallflower, just the way I see them after living with them for years. The dogs are also much more relaxed when I get home in the evenings as they have not been cooped up all day and I am able to focus better at work because I am not concerned about what I will have to deal with when I get home. (you know what I mean, I am sure!) I highly recommend this service- it has made a big change in our quality of life!" -Carol C. Ijamsville, Md

"Rachel is the absolute best! During the past six years, we have primarily traveled with our dog everywhere. We never felt comfortable leaving her alone, as she is truly part of our family. After meeting Rachel & seeing how our dog easily got along with her, we were willing to give it a shot. We are so glad that we did. Traveling with two children under 6 is stressful enough. Knowing our dog is in great hands when we are gone is one less thing to worry about!" - Lisa O. Urbana, Md

"I have been using The Village Pet Au Pair for my pet sitting needs since February 2012. I absolutely love Rachel and so do my cats! I can tell by reading the kitty reports that I receive after each visit that Rachel really enjoys caring for my cats and that they are totally comfortable with her caring for them. Rachel is very dependable and was a huge help to me in the summer of 2013 when I had to abruptly leave town for an unknown length of time due to a family crisis. She told me not to worry and that she would be there for my cats for as long as I needed. It was such a relief to know the cats were in good hands and I will forever be thankful to Rachel for being there for us during that very difficult time. -Pam W. Ijamsville, Md
